I am a native New Yorker who moved with his wife to Knoxville in 1997. Since then our family has become a four top and my passion and school loans have grown for The University of Tennessee.
While my blood is orange, I grew up on Nebraska football, Kentucky and Syracuse hoops. I am still a fan of all.
I can't stand all the media and fans that complain about officiating. Believe me it's not all good, but it is what it is. Officials are over worked and asked to apply the rules of the game and let'em play. The two philosophies do not mix.
If you want to complain why don't you take some time to learn the game, buy a whistle, an indicator, blue polo, your stripes or whatever the uniform. Go to your local ballpark or recreation center and ask about getting a job officiating games and then get back with me.
You'll gain a new perspective.
